Boots' App redesign

Boots embarked on a redesign of its app in response to the identified shortcomings in the previous version. The prior app presented users with a fragmented experience, lacking the authentic essence of the company. I had the opportunity to work on the UX of the app, taking care of user interviews with key internal stakeholders and end-users, conducting multiple user tests, and finalising the overall information architecture of the app.

The result was a revamped Boots app that offered users comprehensive control over their Boots experience. The new UX aimed to streamline the execution of essential repeat tasks, acting as a gateway to users' Boots profiles and preferences. The main additional feature is the digital Boots Advantage Card. Users can choose between several offers, upload their favourite offers onto their Boots Card, and use them inside the store. They can also check their current points balance status, get a medical prescription, book in-store appointments, and check with the store locator for the closest store nearby.
